Coffee is the seed of a fruit and holds delicious potential and flavour. In the hands of a well trained barista flavour can be showcased and in so doing honour the origin of the bean and the people who are involved in the process.
We offer introductory Barista training providing the basic building blocks on your journey of becoming a barista. The training aims to introduce the participant to the history of coffee and insight into the process from bean to cup as well as the basic rhythms and methods required to create espresso based drinks.
The training includes:
- Introduction to Coffee History and processing
- Basics in brewing and influencing factors
- How to make espresso (theory & practical)
- Texturising milk (theory & practical)
- Pairing espresso and milk (recipes)
